At NLOP, we’re always looking for ways to improve your gameplay experience, and we’ve just made a major update! We want to bring more fairness, strategy, and flexibility to your tournament grind. With that being said, we are excited to introduce re-entry to all of our current tournaments.

What’s Gone: Traditional Re-buys

We know that our rebuy system made our online poker playing experience a little less realistic and over the past few months we have been moving slowly away from the re-buy model. The way our re-buys were set up on NLOP was causing disruption and, at time, unfair playing amongst players who would max out their rebuys early on and dominate the tables in chip amount. Well, that will no longer be the case. Every player gets the same amount of chips – no re-buys. If you lose, you can re-enter and start over. We think this is a good change and we hope you do too.

What’s New: Re-entry System

Players can no re-enter tournaments as long as late registration is still open. There is no limit to the amount of times you re-enter as long as it is within the late registration time frame. While we are still working to fully perfect the re-entry system, for now, in order to re-enter you will have to back in the Lobby and click “Check In” as if you were entering the game for the first time. You will start with the same amount of starting chips and get to build your way back up to the top.

What games can you use to Re-enter?

  • $1 Fast Cash
  • $50 Cash Turbo
  • $25 Cash
  • $100 Cash High Roller
  • $30 Cash
  • $500 High Roller
  • $1,000 High Roller

Player Benefits with Re-Entry

Now you can start improving your strategy and playing personality. Those bad beats just got a little less bad. Re-entry allows you to jump right back in and not lose that momentum. We hope that with re-entry, playing online poke becomes more fun and more competitive.
