Nearly 20 years ago, Dennis Darling (NLOP screen name: Mysonkev) won a trip to Las Vegas through NLOP.
This summer, he’s headed back to Las Vegas with a $10,000 WSOP Main Event Seat in hand.
After battling through the action and taking down the 2026 Main Event Mania Championship, Dennis secured the biggest prize of the series and punched his ticket to poker’s biggest stage.
And honestly?
You couldn’t script a better poker story.
From 2006 to 2026
Dennis has been part of the NLOP community since 2006.
In fact, the same year he joined NLOP, he won a trip to Las Vegas through NLOP.
Fast forward nearly two decades, and he’s still doing what poker players do best — showing up, taking his shot, and chasing the next big opportunity.
With more than 25 years of poker experience and years as an NLOP VIP member, Dennis remains a familiar face around the tables, regularly competing in events like the $5,000 Sunday Showdown, the Weekly $250 Cash Tournament, and the $1,111 Nightly Sun Run.
Now, nearly 20 years after his first NLOP win to Las Vegas, Dennis is preparing for the opportunity every poker player dreams about — taking his seat in the WSOP Main Event!
The Main Event Mania Run
When Main Event Mania hit the tables, Dennis took a direct path to the Championship.
Instead of grinding through every qualifier step, he bought into the higher steps and made his move.
“I did buy into higher steps, then won Step 6 to get to final.“
One tournament later, he had his Championship seat.
When asked how he felt after reaching the Main Event Mania Championship, Dennis summed it up simply:
“I felt good and excited!“
