We know all of our loyal community members LOVE playing online poker and texas holdem. Many of you play poker on NLOP strictly for the fun and comradery on our platform. We also know that many of you also play poker games strictly for the free chance at winning some real cash prizes. Our primary goal is always to make the best experience for our players, while continuing to improve and add to our amazing lineup of games.
Our original plan for coins was an experiment to add a new way for free players to be able to play more games without needing or wanting to compete for cash prizes. We know many of you were unhappy (and confused) when we added the coin games. We did find that some players were overwhelmed with the options when they really only wanted to play online poker for cash prizes.
As you now know, we have been removing coin games and putting more focus on the token games. While we are slowly removing all coin games from the poker lobby, it has come to our attention that there are those poker players that really enjoyed the coin games. There’s also the question of “what will happen to my coins”. Please know that we are aware of these concerns and we hope to make it up to players by doing the following:
- Cleaning up the lobby and making it easier to play for tokens and cash prizes.
- Converting all coins to tokens.
The final date and exchange rate (TBD) for coins to tokens will be finalized soon. In the meantime, we would love to hear your feedback. Please feel free to comment with the things we could do to improve your online poker experience and make NLOP an even better place for real online poker players to enjoy the game of Texas Holdem.
